Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand had always believed that Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba will realize his immense potentials in the red colors of the club.
Manchester United legend Ferdinand told Planet Football that he had faith in Pogba when a lot of fans and pundits wrote him off during his early season struggles under Jose Mourinho in the second half of last year.
Paul Pogba was expected to set the Premier League alight this season after playing a big role in the French national team’s World Cup triumph in Russia last summer.
The 25-year-old was amongst the goals as France got the better of surprise finalists Croatia via a 4-2 win in their final clash last summer.
Pogba was unable to replicate his World Cup form at Manchester United earlier this season as he clashed with manager Jose Mourinho on several occasions.
The Frenchman was dropped as one of the Manchester United captains by Mourinho before the Portuguese tactician left him out of the starting XI for many games.
Pogba has found his form since Mourinho was sacked and replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December.
The £89m signing from Juventus has scored nine goals in 15 games in all competitions for Manchester United since the advent of Solskjaer as interim manager.
