Mourinho Speaks On Man Utd Row With Pogba
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho spoke about his frosty relationship with French World Cup winner Paul Pogba at Old Trafford while he was doing his punditry job on popular media outlet BeIN Sports.
Mourinho revealed that all he did at Manchester United was done in the interest of the club before adding that it would have been better if some of the players did the same thing.
Jose Mourinho had issues with some of his players earlier this season before he lost his job at Manchester United towards the end of last year.
The Portuguese tactician paid dearly with his job after the Red Devils started the season poorly.
His cause was not helped by the row with his players especially Paul Pogba.
French midfielder Paul Pogba was dropped as one of the captains of the team by Jose Mourinho after he criticised team tactics in the wake of the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw at home to newly promoted Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in what was their first league meeting for over five years.
Mourinho was appointed the Manchester United manager in the summer of 2016 and he went on to win his three trophies (Community Shield, Carabao Cup and Europa League) in his first season.
