There are fears that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could be sacked anytime soon over his refusal to harken to advice and bend his style and policy even when they are not working.
The Italian boss joined the West London outfit in the last summer transfer window and introduced a playing style that was hailed “Sarri Ball” because of the unique style and how much it had an effect because EPL coaches were not used to it.
Now that it seems like the system is no longer working, efforts to have the manager adopt a new style has proved abortive and more to it is his decision to have Jorginho take over the defensive midfield role that was carried out by French powerhouse N’Golo Kante which has not worked and has refused to make amends.
Jorginho has been heavily criticized by fans and pundits for not being able to play in the role like the former Leicester City star but the former Napoli boss refused to change the player.
However, Maurizio Sarri has come out again to defend the player, insisting that Jorginho can play under pressure and will win over the doubters.
This hints that the manager will not have N’Golo Kante return to his natural role and should the team continue to see defeats, he would be asked to leave the club immediately.
