Three-time European champions Manchester United have been rocked by the news that star midfielder Paul Pogba is open to the idea of leaving the club for Italian Serie A champions Juventus when the transfer window reopens in summer.
Italian news portal Tuttosport claim that Pogba is open to a move to Juventus in summer.
It was revealed that the Frenchman could move back to Italy if Manchester United fail to secure Champions League football at the end of the season.
A top-four spot in the Premier League will be enough to secure Champions League.
Manchester United are in fifth place and one point off Arsenal who occupy the final spot for Champions League qualification at the moment.
The Red Devils can also qualify for next season’s Champions League by winning the competition.
Manchester United trail 2-0 from the first leg of their last 16 tie with French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Both sides meet again at the Parc des Princes for the second leg on Wednesday night.
Paul Pogba has been in superb form for Manchester United since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed the interim manager towards the end of last year.
He has scored nine goals in just two months under Solskjaer.
