Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has indicated interest in the signature of German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter and will make an attempt in the coming summer transfer window, according to Calcio Mercato.
Should Klopp secure his signature, it would be the second time that the German manager will be signing Matthias Ginter after the first at the Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund before they parted ways.
The 25-year-old has since progressed in his game with better organisation and quality which is the reason why he is being wanted by a number of clubs including the two North London outfit Arsenal and Tottenham.
Liverpool so far this season can boast of a fine defence with the combination of Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk but there is a need for them to add more strength to the team in the coming summer transfer window and Matthias Ginter has been identified.
The German defender has had 20 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit this season across all competition and has been impressive in his performance.
With suggestions that he is well understood by Jurgen Klopp, Matthias Ginter could be a decent signing for the Merseyside outfit as he can help bring in stability and cover to the team.
