Blues loan coach Eddie Newton is also being linked with Maurizio Sarri’s job but that seems not to be his priority as he advised the club on what to do with the Italian manager.

There are no doubts that the Blues management is unhappy with the former Napoli manager as a result of the defeats he suffered in the past few weeks with claims that they are already shopping for a replacement.

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has been linked with the job as well as Eddie Newton with the former Spanish outfit manager giving hints that he would be ready to take up the job but under certain conditions.

However, Eddie Newton is of the opinion that the west London outfit are not patient enough in their decision making as they are already carried away with the various criticisms of the manager by the media.

Eddie Newton noted that he has been able to handle the job as a first-team manager in the past which is the reason why clubs always mention his name whenever a manager is sacked but that is not the way to go in his opinion.

The manager, therefore, defends the former Napoli boss, insisting that he is not doing any worse with the Blues team.
