Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona want to secure the return of Ajax Amsterdam shot stopper Andre Onana to the club this summer, according to reports from the Dutch media.
His agent Albert Botines told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that Barcelona have identified his client as the man to replace Jasper Cilissen if the second choice goalkeeper leaves the Nou Camp this summer.
Dutch international Cilissen has not been able to displace Marc Andre Ter Stegen as the first choice goalkeeper at Barcelona.
Andre Onana is a Cameroonian international shot stopper and he has seen his stock rise since his move to Ajax Amsterdam from Barcelona in 2015.
The 22-year-old had joined Barcelona from the Samuel Eto’o Academy in 2010.
He has been Ajax number one since Jasper Cilissen left for Barcelona in 2016.
Andre Onana has played over 120 games for his Dutch Eredivisie side.
The aforementioned publication also revealed that the Premier League trio of Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Arsenal are also keen on a possible move for the goalkeeper.
Barcelona want to offer €20m for him to return to the Nou Camp but Ajax are holding out for €10m more for the transfer to happen at the end of this season.
