Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that the Red Devils are ready for any situation after they battled Premier League leaders Liverpool to a goalless draw in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
The Belgian international attacker gave his post-match reaction to the game in a chat with Sky Sports after Manchester United had to deal with four injuries during the game.
Spanish international Ander Herrera sustained a hamstring problem very early in the game in what was a big blow for Manchester United and he was replaced by Andreas Pereira.
Juan Manuel Mata was the next player to leave the game in the first half on the account of injury before his replacement, Jesse Lingard, also sustained an injury for the hosts in a collision with Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Marcus Rashford also got injured during the game but he had to soldier on for 90 minutes.
Manchester United were not the only ones who suffered from injury after Roberto Firmino also went off for Liverpool shortly after the aforementioned Mata was replaced by Jesse Lingard.
Romelu Lukaku also commended the Solskjaer-led coaching crew for helping the players to adjust to the demands that came with those injuries.
Manchester United maintained their unbeaten run in the league under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the goalless draw at the Theatre of Dreams.
