Everton Join Race To Sign £40m-rated Arsenal Target
Merseyside giants Everton have reportedly joined other interested clubs in the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
This is according to the report from renowned news outlet The Sun which claimed that the Toffees have identified Wan-Bissaka as the man to replace Seamus Coleman at the club for the long haul.
Republic of Ireland international Coleman has not had the best of seasons after returning from a long-term injury.
In contrast, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has had a magnificent campaign thereby elevating himself to be one of the best right-backs since the start of the current season.
The 21-year-old has featured in 25 games in the Premier League this season and his performances for the Eagles have attracted the interest of the major Premier League sides including North London giants Arsenal.
The Gunners have struggled for consistency in the right-back position since the injury to first choice recipient Hector Bellerin and a move for Wan-Bissaka would go a long way to strengthen that area of the Arsenal team.
It could take around £40m to prise him away from Crystal Palace on the part of his suitors.
The England junior international has also been attracting the interest of Chelsea and Manchester City ahead of the summer’s transfer window.
