North London giants Arsenal have joined the race to sign highly rated Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has been one of the standout defenders in the Premier League this season.
According to popular media portal The Sun, the Gunners are the latest entrant into the long list of clubs interested in a summer swoop for the England junior international.
Potential suitors might need to spend as much as £40m to sign Wan-Bissaka.
Other Premier League clubs like Everton, Chelsea, and Manchester City have also registered their interest in the young English right-back.
Recent reports claim that Premier League champions Manchester City are plotting a double summer raid on Crystal Palace and Leicester City for young English talents Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ben Chilwell respectively.
He’s enjoying a breakthrough season for the Eagles after displacing former first choice right-back Joel Ward at the start of the season.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has played 28 games for Crystal Palace in all competitions this season.
He missed his second league game of the season on Saturday night when Crystal Palace produced one of their best performances in this campaign to thrash Leicester City 4-1 at home with the help of a brace from Wilfried Zaha.
That win led to the dismissal of Leicester City manager on Sunday morning.
