Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hailed midfielder Paul Pogba as a special player and that there’s no one like him.
Solskjaer spoke about Paul Pogba during his pre-match press conference on Friday morning ahead of the Liverpool clash billed for Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
Manchester United will host the Reds in a crucial Premier League clash with both sides focused on different targets.
Paul Pogba has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround in his Manchester United career since Solskjaer was made the interim Red Devils manager towards the end of last year.
He has scored eight goals in nine league appearances under the Norwegian tactician and that represents 36% of the goals he has scored in the Premier League since his world-record transfer in 2016.
His form has propelled Manchester United to eight wins and one draw in those nine league games.
It has, however, not been plain sailing for Paul Pogba since Solskjaer was made manager in December after he was sent off for two yellow cards against PSG in their Champions League last 16 clash
It capped a frustrating night for Paul Pogba who was man-marked by PSG defender Marquinhos.
Solskjaer expects Liverpool to adopt the same man marking approach as he said that they would be ready for that if the Reds decide to go that route.
