Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is currently having a tough time at the Stamford Bridge with his future at the club now uncertain after he saw his side humiliated 6-0 by Man City in a Premier League tie.

With difficult fixtures lined up for the Blues team, there are fears that the manager could be sacked if he fails to win at least one of the first two coming ahead.

However, Chelsea assistant Gianfranco Zola says his boss should not be placed under unnecessary pressure because what he is going through is not new in the business.

According to him, big managers like Pep Guardiola have also gone through the difficult stage and were questioned on their ability to deliver while their future was also speculated to be short but they were able to scale through with time.

Gianfranco Zola, therefore, stated that the Italian boss should be given more time to resolve the issues with the results and adjust to returning back to winning ways.

However, the West London outfit will begin with an all-important fixture against Man United in the fifth round of the FA Cup. There is o doubt that a defeat for the Blues team will cast spell to the former Napoli manager’s job.
