Three-time European champions Manchester United are planning a big money move for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer’s transfer window.
According to journalist Neil Custis, Manchester United are preparing a summer bid of £70m for the young England international player.
It was also revealed that Manchester City have a 15% sell-on clause for the player.
The clause was inserted into the contract that took him from the club to Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season.
Jadon Sancho rejected several contract extension offers at Manchester City before leaving for Germany on a free transfer last summer.
The 18-year-old winger has grown to become an important player for Borussia Dortmund within a short space of time.
He left Manchester City last year in search of first team opportunities and he has been able to get that in abundance at German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
Since joining the Germans, Jadon Sancho has scored nine goals and also provided 17 assists for them including eight goals this season.
His form has been influential in Borussia Dortmund’s run to the top of the league table in the top flight of German football.
Jadon Sancho has virtually been linked with all the major clubs in England since he burst onto the scene at Borussia Dortmund.
