Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has assured fans that key players like David De Gea and Marcus Rashford will sign contract extensions at the club before the end of this season.
Ed Woodward occupies the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role at three-time European champions Manchester United at the moment.
He spoke about possible contract renewals for Manchester United players during a press conference on Thursday as he revealed that the club will conclude new contract talks with the remaining players before the end of the current campaign.
Manchester United have announced contract extensions for a lot of their players in the last few weeks especially since interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was handed the managerial job in December.
The quartet of Scott McTominay, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Ashley Young have all signed respective new contracts at Manchester United but there are still doubts over Marcus Rashford, David De Gea and Juan Manuel Mata.
Rashford has been in very good form since Solskjaer became the Manchester United manager with six goals in just two months.
He has been linked with a possible summer move to major European sides like Juventus and Real Madrid.
The Spanish duo of David De Gea and Juan Mata have also been touted as possible transfer signings at Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
