Emerging reports claim that former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is being considered by top Chelsea hierarchy for the job as the club’s manager ahead of next season.
This is after it is claimed that the future of Italian boss Maurizio Sarri is already on the line after the 6-0 humiliation by Man City in the Premier League game.
From all indications, the former Napoli boss would be shown the way out should he fail to qualify the club to the Champions League next season with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not a patient man when it comes to this situations.
It is therefore claimed that the top officials have begun talks among each to weigh the possibility of having the French man and what could be the cost of their action.
Meanwhile, it is unclear if Zinedine Zidane will fancy a move to the West London outfit especially after claiming he was not interested in working in the English League when he was allegedly approached by Manchester United in the early part of the season.
There is, therefore, no doubt about Zinedine Zidane’s availability as he has been out of work since he left the job with the Los Blancos. He is yet to secure a new offer.
