Pablo Fornals

Italian Serie A title contenders Napoli have agreed on a deal to sign Villareal midfielder Pablo Fornals according to various media reports in Italy.

Italian media portal Corriere dello Sport say that the Spanish player is the first choice replacement for Napoli legend Marek Hamsik who’s on the verge of swapping the Italian Serie A for the Chinese Super League.

Napoli had earlier failed to secure his transfer from Spanish La Liga strugglers Villareal during the January transfer window but recent reports claim that the Italians have agreed on a transfer with the agent of the player.

Pablo Fornals had previously been linked with a move to Arsenal as a possible replacement for Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey but it seems like he could join Napoli in the summer at the expense of the Gunners.

He has a £30m release clause in his present deal with Villareal but the Yellow Submarines could sell him for less with the club struggling for form.

Villareal are four points off safety on the Spanish La Liga table at the moment.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery wanted to sign Pablo Fornals as the man to replace Welsh international star Aaron Ramsey who will join Italian Serie A champions Juventus in the summer.

Ever Banega

North London giants Arsenal will revive their interest in Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega in the summer according to reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

Daily Mirror claim that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has identified Ever Banega as the man to replace Juve-bound Aaron Ramsey.

Welsh international star Ramsey will leave Arsenal for Italian Serie A champions Juventus in the summer after his Gunners contract expires.

The 28-year-old has few months left on his current Arsenal deal and he has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Italians.

He’s said to have signed a four-year contract worth £400,000 on a weekly basis before tax.

Aaron Ramsey is the longest serving player in the Arsenal squad after joining in 2008.

Ever Banega could replace Ramsey in the Arsenal squad this summer.

Arsenal tried to sign the Sevilla midfielder during the recently concluded winter transfer window but lack of funds meant that the Gunners had to wait till the summer.

Sevilla were not ready to let Banega leave the club on loan.

The Spaniards wanted a permanent deal which was out of the reach of the Gunners last month.

The Argentine international has a £17m release clause at Sevilla which makes it easy for Arsenal to swoop for him in the summer.

Banega, 30, is no stranger to the methods of Unai Emery whom he worked with at Valencia and Sevilla.

Arsenal will have to see off the interest of several Premier League teams in their quest to sign Birmingham City striker Che according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

Daily Mirror claim that Arsenal and four others are keen on a transfer for the in-form Che Adams who has scored 19 goals in 32 Championship games for Midlands club Birmingham City this season.

His goals have pushed Birmingham City to contention for a playoff spot at the end of the season.

They are just two spots off the last spot for the playoffs (8th position).

Che Adams, 22, joined Birmingham City from Sheffield United in the summer of 2016.

The striker has shown a remarkable improvement in his output this season in comparison to his two previous campaigns.

He scored just 16 goals over his first two seasons as Birmingham City player before this campaign.

Che Adams is also attracting interest from Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Southampton, Burnley and Watford.

Arsenal have been over-reliant on the striking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette for goals this season with both strikers responsible for 25 of the Gunners’ goals in the Premier League this season and Che Adams could be an alternative to the aforementioned duo for the North Londoners.
