Juventus Confirm Free Transfer Move For Aaron Ramsey
Italian Serie A champions Juventus have made a major transfer coup following the signing of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer.
The Italians confirmed the transfer on Monday night as it was revealed that the Welsh international player has signed a four-year contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Juventus also confirmed that they will pay an additional cost of €3.7m for the registration of the player.
Earlier in the day, reports revealed that Aaron Ramsey will earn £400,000 on a weekly basis at the Juventus Stadium thus making him the highest paid British footballer ever.
The 28-year-old will join his new teammates on July 1 2019, upon the expiration of his contract with the Gunners.
Aaron Ramsey will end his 11-year association with Arsenal to join Juventus this summer.
The Welshman joined Arsenal from Premier League club Cardiff City in the summer of 2018 in a £4.8m deal after he opted for the North Londoners ahead of rivals Manchester United.
Since signing for Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey has scored 61 goals in the colours of the club.
He has won three FA Cup titles for Arsenal in addition to netting two match-winning goals in two of those three finals including the strike that ended the North Londoners’ nine-year trophy drought against Hull City in 2014.
