According to the report from popular English media outlet Daily Mail, Manchester City are favourites to sign the 22-year-old despite the fact that Manchester United have already made contact with the representatives of the player in their quest to sign the young midfielder from French Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
Italian Serie A giants Juventus are the third team interested in Tanguy Ndombele as mentioned by the aforementioned publication.
Tanguy Ndombele has grown to become one of the most sought-after midfielders in European football during his time at Lyon.
Ndombele joined Lyon permanently at the start of this season having impressed on loan at the club in the previous campaign.
The French international star was on loan at Lyon from fellow French Ligue 1 club Amiens throughout last season.
He came through the ranks at Amiens before playing for the first team in 2016.
Manchester City have already had a bid turned down for him as Citizens manager Pep Guardiola rates him highly.
