English Premier League giants Chelsea have been asked by scouts to move in on Benfica star and Portuguese international Joao Felix in the coming summer window.

It is understood that the Blues scouts had watched Joao Felix when they attended Benfica’s game against Sporting Lisbon. The report is that he had impressed and is fit for the Chelsea team.

According to a report by The Sun, the West London side are understood to be monitoring Joao Felix alongside Ruben Dias and Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes who are all Portuguese internationals.

However, the West London outfit are not alone in the chase for the player as it is reported that other English Premier League sides including Man United and Liverpool are also monitoring the star player.

The Blues have lined up the 19-year-old as a potential replacement for Belgium international Eden Hazard who is set to leave the club for Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid in the coming summer window.

It is unclear if the West London side will succeed in their pursuit of Joao Felix but it is understood that tan offer would be tabled for him as Chelsea will not want to suffer any set back as a result of Eden Hazard’s exit.
