Lille manager Christopher Galtier is certain that one of his players is not far behind the level of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
In his recent interview monitored by popular English news outlet Daily Star, Galtier showered high praise on the in-form Pepe as he described him as a world class talent.
The PSG duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are widely regarded as two of the top five players on the world football stage and Christopher Galtier believes that Ivorian international Pepe is operating at a level not far behind the two aforementioned players.
Pepe, 23, has been attracting the interest of several major clubs in Europe including Arsenal.
The Gunners want to sign him in the summer and are ready to splash the cash to secure his transfer from his French Ligue 1 club but his form means Arsenal might need to pay more than they have bargained.
Recent reports claim that it could take as much as €85m to sign the in-form Ivorian attacker.
Nicolas Pepe has been in sensational form for Lille this term with 16 goals and eight assists in the league.
Only PSG star Mbappe (18) has scored more than Pepe in the league.
