There are indications that manager Jurgen Klopp has learnt his lessons already as he is reported to be ready to make some signings ahead of the summer transfer window.
The German boss was asked to add to his squad in the last winter transfer window but he refused on the claim that he has a good squad and will not have any need of it.
But it seems to be dawn on Klopp that he had made a mistake knowing that he now has some injury challenge which has reduced the strength of his team and that this why they lost 4 points in one week when they played out a draw in two consecutive games.
So far Liverpool is without Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren and Trent Alexander-Arnold as a result of various injuries they suffered in previous games.
However, it is now reported that the former Borussia Dortmund boss is now ready to make some signings in the coming summer window and will turn attention to defensive players so that he can have enough cover for his team.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s eyes on the league title are no longer clear as they now have a slim chance to win it at the end of the season.
