The argument of who is a better manager between Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri and Liverpool boss has set ESPN pundits on different paths as they both have a different stand on the issue.

ESPN pundit Gab Marcotti who stood for the Blues boss said the Italian boss should not be criticized because he is having his first season, claiming that other coaches like Jurgen Klopp struggled as well in his first season.

On the other hand, Steve Nicol stated that Maurizio Sarri has turned the Blues team into a “circus”, citing instances of how he locked up himself and the players in the dressing room after their 4-0 defeat to Bournemouth, in addition to his earlier claim that the players are difficult to motivate.

Gab Marcotti is of the opportunity that the former Napoli boss should be given more time at the West London side, recalling the Pep Guardiola ended the fourth position in his first season with Man City.

According to him, in an attempt to do something differently, there is always a learning stage which comes with some level of difficulties like not winning all the games.

But Steve Nicol says Sarri’s harsh management style should be blamed for all his woes and not the new playing style.
