English Premier League outfit Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has expressed worries that his former side have made a big mistake in their January winter transfer dealings.

It would be recalled that the West London outfit secured the signature of Argentina international striker Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus on loan while Michy Batshuayi was allowed to leave on loan to Crystal Palace.

The Blues now have the Argentina international and Olivier Giroud as their main strikers after allowing Spanish striker Alvaro Morata leave the club on a loan to La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.

However, the Chelsea hero stated that his former side made a mistake by allowing Michy Batshuayi to leave the club because of the performance of the player on his debut game for his new side against Fulham.

Although Chelsea’s new recruit scored a brace in his debut at the Stamford Bridge as well the legend said Michy Batshuayi is a better player and will deliver more goals this season than the two Chelsea attackers.

He made it clear that Michy Batshuayi is a fantastic player, stressing that he could end up scoring more goals than any of Chelsea’s strikers this season because of the traits he showed in 10 minutes he played for Crystal Palace against Fulham as he contributed to the second and winning goal.
