The Mirror writer Stan Collymore has claimed that English Premier League outfit Chelsea made a big mistake to have kept Belgium international Eden Hazard at the club up until this moment.
He gave this opinion while reacting to the fact the West London side have continued to struggle in recent time especially after their 4-0 humiliation against Bournemouth.
The Belgium international playmaker ad insisted on leaving the Stamford Bridge after refusing to commit his future at the club with a new contract. He has been linked with a move to Spanish La Liga outfit with reports that he would be heading there at the end of the season.
Eden Hazard made it clear that Real Madrid is his dream team and will do all it takes to play there.
However, Stan Collymore says Eden Hazard would have left the team in this last winter window, noting that he could be the one causing issues in the dressing room.
Admitting that Hazard is one of the best in the world, Stan Collymore says losing him and cashing in about £150 million would have been a good business for the West London side.
Stan Collymore stated that Hazard is one of the players Sarri thinks are his problems and that would have been avoided if he had left the club.
