Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir has revealed that it would be a dream come true to sign for Premier League giants Manchester United.
The 25-year-old talked about the Red Devils shortly after he helped his side inflict the first league defeat of the season on French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Nabil Fekir scored the winning goal from the penalty spot as Lyon came from a goal down to beat PSG 2-1 at home.
The win cemented Lyon’s place in the top three on the French Ligue 1 table alongside league leaders PSG and second-placed team Lille.
When asked about Manchester United in his post-match thoughts, Nabil Fekir said that Manchester United represent the dream club for a lot of players including himself before adding that his focus is on having a good season with Lyon.
Nabil Fekir has previously been linked with several Premier League clubs including Manchester United.
The French World Cup winner came close to joining Premier League leaders Liverpool at the start of last season only for the Reds to pull out of the transfer.
Liverpool had agreed on a £53m deal with Lyon to sign him before they called the deal off.
He has less than 18 months left on his current Lyon contract and senior club officials want him to sign a new deal.
