Three-time European champions Manchester United have identified two Italian Serie A defenders as their top transfer targets for this summer’s transfer window according to reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

The Independent revealed that Manchester United have made the signing of a new centre back their top priority ahead of the summer and the Red Devils have narrowed their search to two players namely Kalidou Koulibaly and Milan Skriniar.

Senegalese international star plays his club football for Italian Serie A club Napoli at the moment, while Skriniar is on the books of Italian capital club Inter Milan.

Manchester United didn’t sign any player in the just concluded January transfer window and they are expected to splash the cash in a big way during the summer especially on the defensive side of things.

Manchester United have conceded a whopping 35 goals in just 23 games in the Premier League.

Apart from a new centre back, Manchester United also want to sign a talented right wing player with Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho being linked with the Red Devils in a reported £90m deal.

Sancho has been in devastating form this season with did goals and ten assists to show for his troubles this season.
