Manchester United have been handed a huge transfer boost after one of their targets fuelled rumours of his exit from his club.

Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has struggled at the club thus prompting talks about a possible transfer out of the club.

Coutinho addressed those transfer rumours in his latest interview with popular media outlet BeIN Sports.

The 26-year-old is keeping his options open as he said anything can happen before adding that his focus is to work hard at the moment.

Brazilian international playmaker joined Barcelona over a year ago from Premier League giants Liverpool in a multi-million pounds move.

Spanish champions Barcelona paid a whopping £142m to seal his signing in January 2018 thus making him the most expensive footballer in the world apart from the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Former Inter Milan star Coutinho has struggled to start games for Barcelona this season under the guidance of manager Ernesto Valverde with the Spaniard opting for French World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele at the expense of the Brazilian.

Despite his lack of game time at Barcelona especially in the league, Philippe Coutinho has scored four Spanish La Liga goals this term in addition to two assists.
