It is unclear if club fans will be okay with the development but English Premier League leaders Liverpool are set to lose two of their forwards with Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan planning a double raid.
The San Siro side have paid their attention to the Reds attacking duo Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi with the hope that they can conclude a deal for the stars before the end of this January winter transfer window.
Reports according to Calcio Mercato claims that the Serie A giants are already preparing an offer that would be submitted to the Merseyside club as their hope of landing Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems to have failed.
The report also claims that Milan are making efforts to dispose of Brazilian international Alexandre Patro and Vincent Jansson so as to create space for the Liverpool duo.
Both players have gone down the pecking order in the manager Jurgen Klopp’s team with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all winning the heart of the German boss.
Divock Origi’s impact in the team was only felt when he came from the bench to deliver a major win for his Reds team in the Merseyside Derby against Everton last year.
