English Premier League outfit Chelsea are set to lose one of their players with Turkish topflight outfit Fenerbahce already closing in on Danny Drinkwater and will finalize the deal in coming days, before the end of the winter transfer window on Thursday.
Although, the West London outfit boss Maurizio Sarri has made it clear that Danny Drinkwater is not in his plan and is free to leave the club should he find the place of his choice.
Interest have been lined up for the England international especially from the English Premier League but they seem to be losing out with the Turkish outfit looking to have won the race as they are currently in advanced talks.
It is therefore not clear if a fee has been agreed with the West London outfit but there are suggestions that an agreement for personal terms have already been reached with the former Leicester City player.
Danny Drinkwater joined the Blues in 2017 from Leicester City immediately after helping the Foxes win the EPL title.
However, Danny Drinkwater has a contract with the West London side until 2022 with a release clause of £20 million but there are indications that he will not see out his contract at the club.
