Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out the exit of the fringe players in his team before the end of the current January transfer window on Thursday.

Several Manchester United players like Andreas Pereira, Matteo Darmian, Scott McTominay and Antonio Valencia have all been linked with clubs in and out of England.

Solskjaer spoke about Manchester United and transfers during his pre-match press conference on Monday morning ahead of the Red Devils’ league clash with Burnley at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

The ex-Manchester United striker wants the transfer window to end as soon as possible so that he can focus on improving his squad for upcoming challenges.

The latest news is a big blow to clubs interested in the aforementioned Manchester United players.

Club skipper Valencia has been attracting the interest of Premier League sides like Newcastle United and Fulham.

Italian Serie A clubs like Fiorentina, Inter Milan and Juventus have been touted as possible transfer destinations for Matteo Darmian.

Premier League sides like Newcastle United, West Ham United, Arsenal and Chelsea have previously been linked with Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Scottish Premiership club Celtic wanted to sign Scott McTominay on loan earlier this month but the interest has cooled down in recent weeks.
