Three-time European champions Manchester United have been dealt with a big transfer blow after it was revealed that transfer target Adrien Rabiot favours a move to fierce rivals Liverpool.

Adrien Rabiot plays his club football for French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) at the moment.

According to the report from popular English news outlet Daily Mirror, Adrien Rabiot has turned down the advances of North London club Tottenham Hotspur in favour of a move to Liverpool.

Rabiot is only interested in a move to Premier League leaders Liverpool at the expense of other major teams keen to snap him up on a free transfer.

The young French midfielder has been heavily linked with major European clubs including Manchester United.

Others include Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Adrien Rabiot is on his way out of PSG with his contract up in the summer.

The 23-year-old has six months left on his current deal with the French capital club and he has already told senior PSG officials that he will leave the club this summer.

Barcelona were favourites to sign him but the Catalan giants have struggled to agree on a free transfer move for the talented midfielder.
