Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic is desperate to leave the Italian Serie A club in this winter transfer window according to reports coming out of the media in Italy.
Italian media outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport revealed the extent of his desperation.
It was revealed that no offer has been received on the part of the Nerazzurri and that the player is keen to leave Inter Milan to the extent that his agent Fahli Ramadani is working with Arsenal to arrive at a deal that will be acceptable to the San Siro giants.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a loan move for Ivan Perisic in the last few days with the option to buy in the summer.
Earlier transfer rumours had said that Arsenal offered €5m for the six-month loan deal with the option to sign him for €35m at the end of the season but the offer was rejected by Inter who are only interested in a permanent exit for the player.
Ivan Perisic has become a key player for Inter Milan since he joined the club from German Bundesliga club VFL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015.
He has scored 34 goals in 143 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions.
