Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Thomas Tuchel has given the go-ahead for midfielder Christopher Nkunku to join Unai Emery at Arsenal.

This is according to the publication from French news outlet L’Equipe via Football London.

French junior international Nkunku is expected to join North London giants Arsenal on loan till this summer with the option to make the transfer a permanent one for £18m.

It was also revealed that the loan transfer will be completed once PSG sign two midfielders.

The French Ligue 1 champions have already agreed on a deal to sign Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.

Premier League club Chelsea were also in the running for Argentine international Paredes but PSG have won the race to sign him in a deal worth £34m.

Recent reports also revealed that PSG have made a substantial bid for Everton midfielder Idrissa ‘Gana’ Gueye.

Some days ago, PSG missed out on top transfer target Frenkie De Jong who has signed for Spanish giants Barcelona.

Ajax Amsterdam midfielder De Jong opted for Barcelona ahead of other European clubs like PSG and Manchester City.

The La Liga champions were said to have agreed on a fee of around €75m, including add-ons, for the Dutch international player.
