English Premier League leaders Liverpool and their long term rival Manchester United are both monitoring Birmingham youngster Romello Mitchell.

Both English Premier League team are keen to land Romello Mitchell before this winter transfer window runs out as he is believed to be available in the market.

Daily Mail reports that Romello Mitchell has attracted scouts from all over and they are all trooping in to watch him.

Romello Mitchell who just turned 16 has been impressive to be a regular player with the U18s which is the reason why he is attracting a number of interests.

Both Liverpool and the Red Devils hope to land Romello Mitchell as they are keen to strengthen their youth team as a way of investing into the future of the club.

There is no doubt that Liverpool and United believe in youth players but there is no chance of Romello Mitchell breaking into the first team at the moment was a result of the talents in the teams.

He is therefore expected to begin with the Youth team to continue his progress until he will be able to fit into the first team.

However, the Merseyside club have been tipped to win the race for Romello Mitchell over United.
