Italian Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly proposed a swap deal to Arsenal in the bid to sign midfielder Aaron Ramsey in this winter transfer window.
Italian media outlet Calciomercato via the Daily Star claim that the Italians are ready to offer goalkeeper Emil Audero in exchange for Ramsey who’s expected to leave the Gunners at the end of his contract this summer.
Juventus have already agreed on a deal to sign Ramsey on a free transfer at the end of his Arsenal contract but the Italian giants want to fast track his move.
Emil Audero is presently on loan at Italian Serie A club Sampdoria from the Old Lady and he has been attracting the interest of Arsenal.
Recent reports claim the Gunners are monitoring the 22-year-old shot stopper with the view to make a move for him.
Audero has been in very good form for Sampdoria this season thereby propelling the team to the top eight on the Italian Serie A table.
He has kept seven clean sheets in 20 league appearances for Sampdoria since the start of the season.
The Italian goalkeeper can be the direct replacement for experienced Arsenal shot stopper Petr Cech who has announced his retirement from football.
