Former Chelsea player Chris Sutton has reacted to the capture of Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain from Italian Serie A champions Juventus on a loan deal.

The deal finally worked out following weeks of speculations and delay with AC Milan, where he was having a loan spell reluctant to release him for the move.

However, Gonzalo Higuain has not been in a convincing for so far this season but that should not be a thing to bother about, according to the Blues legend who stated that the Argentina international will fit into the team and deliver goals.

It is no longer news that Gonzalo Higuain’s move was forced by manager Maurizio Sarri who wanted a solution to the lack of cutting edge of the Chelsea attack with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud failing o score goals.

The Blues legend says Gonzalo Higuain will be vital to West London side not minding his age as he has proven in the past to be a goal scorer.

Chris Sutton dismissed the claims that Gonzalo Higuain has not played in any European side in the past by stating that he is a proven goal scorer who has delivered goals at a high level.

However, Sarri is understood to be under pressure as his job would be on the line should Gonzalo Higuain fail to deliver goals.
