English Premier League outfit Chelsea have reached the end of the road in their pursuit of Marko Arnautovic as he signs a new contract with London outfit West Ham United.

Marko Arnautovic has longed been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge as an option for Alvaro Morata’s potential replacement but the deal was reported to collapse.

He was also linked with a big money move to the Chinese Super League but that is the end of the story that he has signed a new deal with the London side just 30 minutes after their elimination from the FA Cup on Saturday night.

Sportsmain reports that the Austrian forward signs a deal that includes performance related incentives until 2023 and that is satisfactory to the star player.

In his reaction, he told the official website of the club that he is happy to sign the deal and will ensure he deliver on the faith that has been invested in him with goals and assists.

However, Marko Arnautovic is expected to stay longer at the club while the Stamford Bridge team will have to settle for Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain who recently signed a loan deal from Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
