Bad Alvaro Morata news for Sarri?

There are suggestions that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will not be happy with the latest development that might have Spanish striker Alvaro Morata remain at the Stamford Bridge further than this winter transfer window.

It was earlier expected that the former Real Madrid striker would quit the West London side owing to his fall out with the Italian boss but that is yet to happen.

The former Napoli boss is reportedly unhappy with the performance of the striker which according to him is the reason why the club still struggle to keep the top four spot.

However, Sarri would be left with no choice than to live with Alvaro Morata at the Stamford Bridge as his expected move to Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid seem to have fallen.

Fans of the Spanish capital are reported to have rejected the plans to bring Alvaro Morata to the club and that could be listened to by the management.

In their La Liga game against Getafe, fans were heard to be chanting “less of Morata, more of Borja Garces”, implying that he is not needed at the club.

It is therefore still unknown if the management will listen to the plea and wish of the fans or go ahead with the deal.
