After finalizing a deal for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, English Premier League outfit Chelsea are set to return to Turin again for the signature of defender Daniele Rugani, according to reports.

The report claims that the West London side are already preparing a bid that would be submitted before the end of the winter transfer window.

There is a need for fresh legs at the Stamford Bridge, knowing that Gary Cahill is already 33-years old and might be on his way out soon while Andreas Christensen is also pushing to see out of the club.

Daniele Rugani has been identified as a better fit for the West London side having impressed with the Serie A champions as well as shown big quality that he can play at a big stage.

However, the West London outfit have been told they will have to big to secure the signature of Daniele Rugani as he could be available as long as his asking price is met.

Meanwhile, Daniele Rugani is one of the best defenders in the Serie and has got wealthy of experience at the age of 24. He has got a contract running with the Old Lady until 2021 with a release clause of £40 million.
