It has been revealed that Nabil Fekir would have dumped his French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon for English Premier League leaders Liverpool as al agreement were reached but the deal suddenly failed.

The deal was reported to have failed because manager Jurgen Klopp had a change of mind on the World Cup winner in the process.

A report claims that there were two reasons why the decision as made by the German international which means he could never play in the Red shirts again.

According to the reports, the Merseyside club were no longer be convinced about Nabil Fekir’s quality, his current fitness as well as his cost.

While answer was not given to all of these concerns, the Reds had to make a U-turn in the last summer window which is the reason why he has snubbed in the middle of the road.

In addition, Liverpool had to turn attention to Xherdan Shaqiri who was bent on leaving Stoke City and did not cost more than £13 million, a fee that was well affordable by the Merseyside team.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are still convinced that the best decision was made over Nabil Fekir having had it good so far with the former Stoke City player.
