English Premier League outfit Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants former Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater to be sold before the end of this winter transfer window, it has been revealed
Danny Drinkwater has not been a part of the Blues team this season under the Italian boss and has been told to find a club as he is no longer in the plans of the manager due to his style of play which cannot be accommodated.
A number of clubs including Fulham and West Ham United are reported to be monitoring the situation with the player as they hope to land him to help strengthen their squad.
There is no doubt that the former Napoli boss will approve any meaningful offer for Danny Drinkwater as he hopes to cash in on him to have more funds for other deals.
The West London outfit signed Danny Drinkwater from Leicester City in 2017 for a fee of £38 million but there are no chances he would be released for the same amount owing to the fact that he has not been seen playing games this season.
Meanwhile, Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas who was also surplus to requirement at the Stamford Bridge has joined French Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
