Liverpool are reported to have sent their scouts to watch 19-year-old Nicolas Acevedo with the hope that they can be able to secure his signature before the end of this winter transfer window.

Nicolas Acevedo has impressed a lot in the last one year which has attracted a whole number of clubs flocking in for the South American man with another English Premier League side Man United reported to be monitoring the youngster as well.

The star player is known to be very talented and most importantly versatile as he can operate as a defender and also as a midfielder in addition to playing both roles perfectly.

Nicolas Acevedo is reported to have played two games for Uruguay and he was also in action for his U20 side against the Argentina U20 side Argentina on Thursday night.

However, the Reds are ready to give him the chance of continuing his progress at the Anfield in order to hand him first-team appearance when he is ready.

The Reds side are currently focused on winning the league title this term, hence they will not include Nicolas Acevedo in the team for now but will have him join the youth team before being considered for next season.
