Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has told the club that he won’t leave the Catalan giants unless it’s a transfer to North London giants Arsenal.
According to the publication from sportwitness, the player’s agent has informed the club that Denis Suarez is only interested in leaving the club for Premier League side Arsenal despite the interest of some Spanish La Liga outfits.
It was revealed that Spanish clubs like Real Betis and Sevilla are keen to sign the 25-year-old.
Earlier reports had claimed that transfer talks between Arsenal and Barcelona have broken down with Denis Suarez in serious danger of not getting his wish to move to the Gunners this January transfer window.
Barcelona are adamant that Arsenal will have to pay €20m for the Spanish midfielder at the end of his loan spell in the summer but the Gunners were not willing to meet the terms from the Catalans if they are to sign Denis Suarez on loan for the remainder of this season.
The aforementioned duo of Real Betis and Sevilla are ready pay the Barcelona asking price for the player in this winter transfer window.
Denis Suarez has less than 18 months left on his current deal with Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.
