Star player on his way out of Ligue 1 to Chelsea

It has been confirmed that US International Matt Miazga will be leaving the French Ligue 1 outfit FC Nantes to his parent English Premier League club Chelsea in this winter window.

It is claimed that he would be returning to finalise the termination of his loan spell at the French Ligue 1 outfit, according to reports from Quest France

Matt Miazga signed a one year loan deal with the French Ligue 1 outfit as it was obvious he could not win the competition for a first team football in the West London side but it did not work out as planned for him.

The loan spell had to be cut short because Matt Miazga has only seen seven appearances for the French outfit in addition o being outré of the team since October last year.

The Blues had brought in the 23-year-old powerful central defender to add to the strength of the team from the American top-flight Major League Soccer outfit New York Red Bulls in January 2016 but he has not been effective as he has only made two senior-team appearances for before being sent out on loan.

However, he is expected to return back before another loan deal is secured for him.
