Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly revived their interest in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic in the current transfer window.
According to the publication from Italian media outlet Gazzette dello Sport via the Daily Express, the Red Devils are one of two clubs keen to sign the Croatian World Cup star.
Ivan Perisic was a key performer for the Croatian national team following their run to the final of last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
The 29-year-old played a major role as Croatia surprisingly reached the final of the tournament before they were beaten 4-2 by eventual winners France.
He has not been able to replicate the same form for Inter Milan this season upon his return to the team after his World Cup exertions with Croatia.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of Ivan Perisic and the Red Devils came close to signing him in the summer of 2017.
A swap deal involving Anthony Martial didn’t materialise as Inter Milan held out for more money thus leading to the collapse of the transfer.
Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are the second team keen on signing Ivan Perisic with highly rated PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn been linked up as a possible replacement for him by the Italians.
