It can arguably be said the English Premier League leaders Liverpool boss has yielded to the plea of the fans to secure an additional defender for the team owing to the number of injury worries.
This is after the Merseyside club announced that they have sealed a deal for Left full-back Billy Koumetio from the French Ligue outfit US Orleans Loiret.
Reports claim that Billy Koumetio has been with the Reds since November last year on a trial and has been satisfied to have impressed as a 16-year-old boy.
Billy Koumetio had previously played with the French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon youth side before now and he is now expected to have another experience of the English football.
However, reports according to Daily Mail claims that Billy Koumetio will be involved with the Reds Academy at the U23 and U18 level so as to continue his progress before given the opportunity to fight for a place in the first team.
Suggestions are that manager Jurgen Klopp has not yielded to the calls of additions to the team knowing that Billy Koumetio cannot break into the first team at the moment.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are reported to be in the pursuit of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and will make attempt to land him.
