West London outfit Chelsea are reported to be preparing a bid for German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey after claims that they have already made contact to find out his availability.
According to The Mirror, the West London side have already held personal talks with Leon Bailey and will now proceed to hold talks with the club so as to finalize fee for the player.
However, the reports add that the Blues are not alone in the pursuit of Leon Bailey as he has got a number of sides who are ready to land him before the end of this January winter transfer window.
The likes of North London outfit Arsenal and Manchester United have also made enquiry about the player and they are hoping to submit offers for him in coming days as well.
However, Leon Bailey has lost his place in the Bayer Leverkusen team this season having started only 8 games so far which is the reason why he is being speculated to be leaving the club.
Suggestions are that the West London side are confident that Leon Bailey has lost out of the German outlet and will be easily available for sale in this winter transfer window.
