English Premier League leaders Liverpool are reported to be keen on tempting North London outfit Tottenham key man Victor Wanyama to the Anfield in this winter transfer window.
It is gathered that Victor Wanyama has fallen down the pecking order in the Spurs team which will make it easy for the Merseyside outfit to be able to land him.
Victor Wanyama suffered an injury last season and that was how he lost out of the team with Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele becoming the preferred in the team.
The situation is still unchanged for Victor Wanyama who has seen just 57 minutes of play in the Premier League this season, a hint that he is no longer in the plans of the manager and could be allowed to leave.
However, the Reds are encouraged by the fact that they will be able to secure Victor Wanyama for as less as the £50 million that was paid for him by the Reds team to move to the North London side.
The Reds are confident that the former Celtic and Southampton star still has a lot to offer and will be a good addition to the team in their bid to keep hold of the top position until the end of the season.
