Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has provided a transfer update on Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez over his potential move to North London giants Arsenal.
According to Schira of Gazzette dello Sport, Denis Suarez can secure his transfer to Arsenal after Barcelona completed the move for Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The 33-year-old has joined Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona on loan from Italian Serie A side Sassuolo.
The transfer will become a permanent one in the summer for €8m only.
Nicolo Schira provided an update on Denis Suarez on his official Twitter handle as monitored by popular English news outlet Daily Express.
Denis Suarez is keen to reunite with Arsenal manager Unai Emery in North London having worked with him at Sevilla.
The 25-year-old played for Unai Emery during the 2015/16 season while he was the manager of the Spanish La Liga club.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has already confirmed that the Gunners don’t have funds to sign players thus restricting the North Londoners to possible loan signings.
Recent reports revealed that Denis Suarez will join Arsenal before the end of this January transfer window with the obligation for the Gunners to make the loan deal a permanent one when it expires this summer.
