Three-time European champions Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for highly rated PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.

According to the publication from tasteoffootball, Manchester United have been impressed with the impact that the young winger has made in a short time in Dutch football.

Steven Bergwijn has been in sensational form for PSV Eindhoven for the better part of the last two seasons.

His form has attracted the interest of major European clubs including Old Trafford club Manchester United.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 17 appearances for PSV Eindhoven in this campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been drawn to his immense qualities and he could prompt senior club officials to make a bid for the two-cap Dutch international.

A bid of around £25m should be enough to secure his transfer.

It remains to be seen whether he would be able to break into the Manchester United starting XI ahead of established Red Devils stars like Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Lingard, Rashford and Martial have been in great form with the trio playing their various roles in the impressive Red Devils’ run of seven straight wins since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed the interim Manchester United manager.
